With the one-time commissioning of a storage location, the client instructs Hermes Germany GmbH to deposit an individual shipment intended for him/her at a specified storage location, if he/she is not personally found at the shipment address during delivery.
The chosen deposit location must be located on the client's property, dry and weather-protected, not visible to third parties and freely accessible to the delivery agent. Delivery at the deposit location is expressly at the client's own risk. After the shipment is dropped off, the client is informed by text or a notification card with a qualified indication of the time and location of the handover. In the event of loss or damage to the shipment at the specified storage location, the client is therefore not entitled to any claims against Hermes Germany GmbH and/or their persons used to perform an obligation and against the sender of the shipment. The same applies if the delivery at the deposit location cannot be made for actual or organisational reasons.
The one-time commissioning of the preferred delivery at a storage location can neither be changed nor revoked after issue.
With the one-time commissioning of delivery at a Preferred Neighbour, the client instructs Hermes Germany GmbH to deliver a single shipment intended for the client to an indicated neighbour if recipient is not personally present at the shipping address.
The indicated neighbour must reside in the immediate vicinity of the client. Furthermore, the client must ensure that the neighbour agrees to the receipt of the shipment and the indication as a Preferred Neighbour.
Delivery to the indicated neighbour is made expressly at the client's own risk. Upon delivery to the indicated neighbour, the shipment is deemed to have been properly delivered. The client is informed by text or a notification card regarding the completed delivery to the Preferred Neighbour. In the event of loss of or damage to the shipment at the indicated neighbour, the client is therefore not entitled to any claims against Hermes Germany GmbH and/or their persons used to perform an obligation or against the sender of the shipment. The same applies if delivery to the indicated is neighbour is not possible for factual or organisational reasons.
The one-time commissioning of the preferred delivery at a neighbour can neither be changed nor revoked once the order has been placed.
With the one-time commissioning for delivery to a parcel shop, the client instructs Hermes Germany GmbH to send a single shipment intended for him/her to a specified parcel shop.
When the shipment is placed at the deposit location, it is deemed to have been properly delivered. The client is informed regarding the completed delivery to the specified ParcelShop. If delivery to the parcel shop is not possible for factual or organisational reasons, the client is not entitled to any claims against Hermes Germany GmbH and/or their persons used to perform an obligation or against the sender of the shipment.
The one-time commissioning of the preferred delivery at a Parcel Shop can neither be changed nor revoked once it has been granted. If the shipment is already being delivered, the delivery time may be extended by up to 2 working days.
With the one-time commissioning of a Preferred Delivery Date, the client instructs Hermes Germany GmbH to deliver a single shipment intended for the client on another specific date.
Upon delivery on the selected date, the shipment is deemed to have been properly delivered. If delivery to the parcel shop is not possible for practical or organisational reasons, the client is not entitled to any claims against Hermes Germany GmbH and/or their persons used to perform an obligation or against the sender of the shipment.
The one-time commissioning of another delivery date cannot be changed or revoked once the order has been placed.
